Alan is my other major fangirl obsession. He's famously known these days as the sinfully sexy Professor Snape in the Harry potter films, and he's also the lecherous Judge Turpin in the new Sweeney Todd film. He's like 62 or something, but I don't care! I would so go for it. You really can't go wrong with a deep velvety voice, a British accent, and brilliant acting talent! ;D

Aw, yeah! Love that man. What an actor. Have you seen him in Sense and Sensibility? An Alan Rickman fangirl must-see. I used to have the full-size version of this, but lost it when my hard drive crashed. Still a nice pic, though.

Yes, age knows no bounds (especially where this man is concerned!). I've seen his work before, but the love started in Harry Potter. He should have that hair all the time, because when a few stray locks brush across his face... *dies* And the way he speaks German...

He always looks so good in period piece films. But if you think Sense and Sensibility is good, you should check out Mesmer. The film itself isn't the greatest, but there is some real Alan eye candy! It's just very...sensual... ;D

Ah, yeah, I used to have a video clip of The Kiss from Mesmer, before my HD crash. Mmmmm. Have you seen the music video of Alan doing the tango with the singer? I've completely forgotten the singer and the song, but I remember Alan dancing with her. Mmm-mmm!

I need to buy a fan, my hands just can't keep up! I found that clip a while back, and fell in love with it. You just want to be in her place.

Several nice pics of Alan Rickman with his co-stars from the upcoming movie Bottle Shock at a Sundance news conference here. He's definitely showing his age, but I admire him for not going the Hollywood route of endless lifts, tucks, peels, transplants, and Lord-knows-what. He looks real, not plastic.

I've posted already about some of the stuff I've found at Deviant Art during my recent illness. Alan Rickman is very popular over there, between his role as Severus Snape and his recent turn in Sweeney Todd. A lot of the art is... not so good. But some of it is very well done. Plus there's always nice photo manips and wallpapers you can find. I've got a collection of my own personal favorites, if anyone's interested. ladydonna.deviantart.com/favourites/#Alan-Rickman

Those are cool pics Blue! My absolute favorite piece of Rickman fanart has to be this: It's just sooo pretty. Combine my love of Alan with my love of Snape and you've got a winning combination!

I read the Chicago Tribune review of "Bottle Shock"(apparently it's not in wide release) but the Trib reviewer said Rickman was the best part of the movie. I did see previews of "Bottle Shock" and it looked interesting, so I may see if it's playing in downtown Chicago.
