Guys, I'm in love... again. ;D I went to go see Twilight last night. Now, I was not previously a Twilight fangirl. I'd never even heard of the book until I heard about the movie. And I didn't care about the movie at all until I found out that the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince release date was pushed back specifically because of this film. So yeah, at first I was pissed at this film because Harry Potter was supposed to come out this week but now it's been pushed back to July because Warner Bros. execs were scared that they would have to compete with it, and that legions of squeeing tweens would choose this movie over Harry Potter. But then I decided if this movie freaked them out so much it must be worth seeing. So I went. And oh my God was I sucked in. I immediately went out and bought the first two books. I skipped over the first one (because it's exactly like the movie) and I just finished the second one. I went to see the movie again this afternoon. One of the reasons I liked it? The lead actor Robert Pattinson. I never paid much attention to him before (he was Cedric Diggory in the 4th Harry Potter film) but I don't know...as the brooding, sensual vampire in this movie I was totally smitten. Geez, I just wanna crawl all over the guy! ;D MMMmmmmmmm....

Oh man....awkward. I went to see Twilight too, but me and some friends spent the entire movie making fun of it. XD (It was a Friday night in a theater full of screaming fangirls, trust me, we did little to add to the noise.) Also I think Robert Patterson as Edward Cullen looks, um, kind of ridiculous don't hit or yell!
I did like the vampire baseball though. That might have been because Muse was playing in the background...

Don't get me wrong, the movie was ridiculous...Bella's high school friends were such dorks it was painful, but I don't know. The absurdity of the film worked for me. It was so melodramatic, and somehow the squeeing teenage girls added to the atmosphere in just the right way. Made me feel like I was twelve again, lol. And I'll admit, Robert does kinda have a weird looking face, but it's weird in a kinda beautiful way for me. I dunno. Don't worry I won't hit you Robyn. You're absolutely entitled to your opinion!

You know, he doesn't look bad when he's in normal, non-sparkly-vampire mode. He does have a good puppy-dog look going for him, I'll give him that much.
Part of the reason this is hard for me is because my friend's sister is a total Cedric Diggory fangirl, thus making her love Robert Pattinson. XD; I'm used to the jabs said friend would make, and they've thusly infiltrated my brain too much.

Not when he's sparkly...that's just silly. But that pale face, the darkness in his eyes...I dunno...vampires be sexy. Something so animal about him in the role. Makes me wanna act like one too. ;D

I read the first three books a few months ago, and am still slogging my way through the fourth one. They're not really my cup of tea, and I kind of place them in my "junk-food-for-my-brain" category of books. The writing might not be that masterful, but they are enjoyable. Now, on to Mr. Pattinson. I think he's GORGEOUS. Though I much perfer him as Cedric than as Edward. :] Dayummmm. <333

I love vests on guys. And Robert wears them beautifully. Though I guess when you're a model/actor that comes with the job! ;D OMG he looks like one of the Beatles here I just wanna do bad, bad things to him! *laughs with a hint of hysteria* XD

I wish dreadfully that the top button in the cigarette picture was undone. It's simply crying out for a fangirl's* attention... *Or a whole bevy of fangirls.

I mean no disrespect, but that guy is one creepy mamma-jamma. He doesn't even need makeup to look like a vampire.

Oh Queenie, thought you might be interested in this: apparently there was huge Twilight panel at the same Comic Con we were at! Someone filmed it, but good luck making out what anyone is saying - and I thought WE were loud! XD Also, for Twilight-related humor, definitely check out Twilight In Fifteen Minutes by cleolanda (and check out her book recaps as well).

Oh, lord. All that fangirling and squeeing is absolutely deafening. DDDx The camera girl has a complete seizure when Robert's name is announced.
He is a pretty one, though. <33
