I figure this topic could be added to for years : All our favorite Time-Travel tales, film or TV.
I'll start with "12 Monkeys". I probably wouldn't normally come up with this Time-Travel submission in my Top 20, but as I flipped thru channels yesterday, it came on from the beginning. I was going to bed, so I told my Fios DVR to "record this, man ! . . I ain't seen it since it first came to VHS 12 tears ago !!"
You wouldn't think the notion of "spoilers" applies to something from 1996, but perhaps you haven't seen this complicated fever-dream from Terry Gilliam, so I won't say anything too direct. Suffice to say, I was only remembering things as they unspooled, and the culmination of "the airport dream" and the young boy who witness's it is some astoundingly cool time-travel paradox stuff ! Especially when Madeline Stowe's character sees the boy.
That'll do for now . . . . . feel free to discuss "12 Monkeys" further . . . or perhaps Capt. Hy would like to tells us about "Time After Time"
or . . . . . . .

I need to watch that again. I remember it only very vaguely, but I've only heard great things about it. Time travel often makes for great movies, although it also usually adds in some of the biggest plot holes known to mankind (that's often inherent in the premise, so it doesn't really bother me at all). Even my (perhaps) favorite action film, Terminator 2, depends on it, although time travel is more of a prerequisite than an actual plot point. I will think about "Time after Time" and possibly a couple of others for more detailed recommendations.

As unique as much of it is in the Gilliam oeuvre, there's still plenty of characters in filthy rags and . . . well it's just Gilliam, which I love. Hey ! I quite liked "The Brothers Grimm", but that's off-topic.
