For those of us who pay any attention to the Cinematic Titanic blog, we have desperately been wondering where our beloved MST creator has run off to! He hasn't blogged in a looong time. So I thought I'd make up a little game where we predict what his blog will entail when he finally decides to grace us with his presence! Silly or serious entries are welcome!
I'll start:
I predict that Joel will return with the meaning of life, and reveal that God's plan all along was to have us buy the Cinematic Titanic DVDs.

I mean, how else can a mere human organism have that kind of sexual attraction? That or he's some kind of Master Wizard, using his vast powers to write MST and make women fall in love with him. So should we start wearing T-Shirts that say WWJD? (What Would Joel Do?) ;D My prediction: When Joel finally blogs again, it'll be about something really mundane, like what he had for breakfast, or when he went grocery shopping. The fans will somehow interpret this as a slam against Mike.  |

I think he will share his award-winning recipe for Five Alarm Chili. Oh man, do you remember around Thanksgiving, when Joel posted a recipe for some kind of...pink... pickled...cranberry concoction?  I'd post a link, but the site won't let me check old posts for some reason. Anyway, I remember being like, "Uggh...that sounds um, really great, Joel..." *turns green* "Maybe next year..." XD And, of course, if he were to actually post something like "God I hate Mike. Burn in Hell, job stealer!", the fans would somehow interpret that as the playful, joking side of Joel, giving a coworker and friend a goodnatured rib. Hmm, makes you wonder how people would react if he said the exact opposite of that. Okay, new preditiction: Joel here. Y'know, there's been a lot of confusion and miscommunication about me and Michael J. Nelson, and I'd just like to set the record straight once and for all, so here goes.
I don't hate Mike, guys, really. I don't even dislike him. How could I? How could anyone look into those beautiful green eyes of his and feel anything but love for the man? Oh sure, in the old days sometimes he'd do or say something to rub me the wrong way...but I could never stay mad at him for long. All he had to do was give me that smile and smother me with kisses, and all would be forgiven. Really, the only reason I've been avoiding doing a RiffTrax with Mike is 'cause being in that little sound booth alone with him...well...I don't know if I'd be able to control myself!

Y'know what? I'm thinking the the next Joel related post we get will be one of the other Titans finally fessing up and informing us the Joel is dead or something. He hasn't blogged in weeks! Or maybe they won't say anything...In fact, I'm starting to think that the Joel shown in the Dallas pics might be a lookalike...
This is totally gonna turn into a Paul is dead Beatles type fiasco. When we get the Wasp Woman DVD, everyone play the riffs backwards to see if Trace says "I buried Joel" okay?

Lol, Robyn. I gotta say, I love your characterizations of the boys!
Anyway, I checked out the CT website and I had a realization. Joel was at 12 posts when he stopped blogging. The other Titans are currently at 10 posts (except Mary Jo...counting today she's at 11). So I'm thinking once the others get up to 12, everything will be equal and we'll start having Joel on Thursdays again! Considering the fact that they're starting filming of the next three films really soon, I think this prediction might actually have some standing. Here's hoping!

The other Titans are currently at 10 posts (except Mary Jo...counting today she's at 11). So I'm thinking once the others get up to 12, everything will be equal and we'll start having Joel on Thursdays again! Considering the fact that they're starting filming of the next three films really soon, I think this prediction might actually have some standing. Here's hoping! Yeah Mary Jo's blog today said that she was ready to head out to California, where they're gonna be filming three episodes all at once. As to what the other two films are, well...that's still top secret.

Well, if my predictions are correct about the 12 post thingy, we're not gonna see Joel next week like I was suspecting. Mary Jo and Josh have not blogged this week (presumably because they're busy filming), and if we assume the same for Trace and Frank, everyone is staying at 11 posts...  So we could hear from Joel in either two weeks at the earliest or whenever they finish filming all three episodes at the latest, which could be weeks. I swear, Joel better be willing to write a freaking novel of a blog when he gets back to make up for this. Like a detailed report of every little thing he's done since he's been absent. Cause I swear, if it ends up being like this: "Hey everyone, Joel here. We've just finished filming three whole episodes of Cinematic Titanic! I love Mary Jo, Trace, J. Elvis and Frank. They are funny. Buy it won't you?" I will flip out. Okay, maybe not actually flip out, but I will be mildly pissy for the rest of the day. |

Okay, it was probably just that they're busy filming, but it all seems a little coincidental.
