Looks like I'm dropping out of the Minneapolis show due to some major deadlines. I'm initially sad to hear this. . . sad for you of course. But then I start thinkin' that our anticipated meeting at the Minneapolis show will now surface at a later date !! ( yay ) You won't be in Minneapolis without me ( unthinkable !! ) and we'll both make it to a better circumstance which will no doubt also feature Queen Shady and all other members we'll also miss at the Minneapolis show. This is my favorite dream so far today !!!

I really, really, really wanna go to the Chicago show too, but I don't know about it yet. The first two shows fall right on exam week for me, so unless I'm lucky and I have either in-class exams or exams early in the week, I'm not sure about it yet. Chances are I'll find out when school starts. *crosses fingers*

Well, Anchan and Robyn will be happy to know that I finally got around to buying my plane ticket today. Curse those high gas prices! Anyway, I'll be arriving in Minneapolis at 3:30 PM on October 24, and leaving at 11:00 AM on October 26. I was hoping to get a later departure for Sunday, but everything either had a 6 AM departure time or a time that was so late in the evening I wouldn't get home at a reasonable time. After all, I do have school the next day! Anyway, glad that's all settled!

I successfully gave away my ticket. Unfortunately I found out yesterday that the major deadline I thought was conflicting with the Minneapolis date was late September rather than late October - all my plans based on that deadline were a month off. There would have only been typical class deadlines to contend with.
At least the ticket went to a good cause, but I'm still mentally kicking myself over it.

Yeah, I have a ticket for Friday 7:30 I believe. It's after the semester's over and after my other big deadline, so nothing aside from a blizzard should get in the way of me going.

That's good. I'm glad you can at least get to the Chicago show. It looks as if they will be doing these live shows a lot.

Allrighty then ladies, we are officially into October, and we are officially 25 days away! A such, more definite planning needs to get under way as to what we're going to do while we're there. Since Robyn and Anchan are my partners in crime this trip, you guys might wanna voice any opinions about it over at the Forrestcrow Board now. James of Linwood from the Rifftrax board invited us to GameWorks before/after the show, so that could be a fun, MSTie related activity. Looking at a map, it appears that the Gameworks is right around the corner from our hotel, so transportation wouldn't be an issue at least! I think it might be a fun thing to do, but I don't want to say yes or anything if you guys would rather do something else.

Okay, this is really random (and quite a bombshell) as I just got a PM from the person who got me my ticket for the Minneapolis show. Lemme tell you what's going on: He originally planned for himself and seven other friends of his (including myself) to sit together during the show. He donated to the theater or something so he could get tickets in advance of Cinematic Titanic's advance sale. Well, over the course of the past few months, his group of friends bailed, and he just found out today that he himself can't go. So, he wants to send me the other seven tickets to the show!! The show is a week away, so selling them would be hard, as people who are going have tickets already. What I'm getting at - this block of tickets are for the eighth row in the theater. Robyn and Anchan - I don't know where your seats are, but if they're worse than that, you might as well come up and sit with me. As for the two tickets you'd be swapping...well I guess we could try and give them away at the show, along with my sudden glut of tickets, since this person has decided to take the hit to his wallet. He's not worried about the losses. So let me know what you wanna do. Obviously this is cutting things close, but it would be a shame to see the tickets go to waste. So if you have any idea on what to do, let me know. Big, if you ever wanted to change your mind about the Minneapolis show, now would be the time. I not only have a ticket for you, but for your lady friend as well!

Whoa, that's pretty cool! Well I certainly wouldn't mind being closer to the the stage, as my current ticket has me up in the balcony. It's not too far-fetched that we might be able to unload the spares on anyone - just recently I've seen a few people here and there say "Oh yeah, the Minneapolis show, that reminds me, I should probably get a ticket soon." So it wouldn't hurt to ask around.

That's very nice of him...;o; My seat's in...uh...Main Floor Section 4, Row L, Seat 3. Whatever that means...I'm guessing it's worse. XD; That would be awesome to sit with you guys! But how would we go about switching seats out, since the tickets have our names on them? Would we just figure that out once we get inside?
(Random but pertinent question...when it says my flight will arrive at 5:00, that means after I change my watch, right? *doesn't change time zones hardly ever* <__<)

Big, if you ever wanted to change your mind about the Minneapolis show, now would be the time. I not only have a ticket for you, but for your lady friend as well! Hmm, that could be greatness ! But it'll take a day or two to sort out logistics. I will certainly answer that by . . oh, Sunday ? let's see, Google maps sez : Driving directions to State Theatre 1,202 mi – about 19 hours 28 mins Cool ! ( Hmm )

But how would we go about switching seats out, since the tickets have our names on them? Would we just figure that out once we get inside? Oh that's right...you guys ordered through TicketMaster. See, I have actual ticket tickets, not the kind you print up. That being said, my name or the buyer's name is is not on there, so we can safely say the theater is not going to be checking out who we are. I've never known a theater to make sure the face matches the name. It would be a waste of time on their end. But, if your name (or other pertinent info like credit card stuff) is on there, you could probably just black it out with a permanent marker and then safely hand it off to someone. Besides, they're going to be taking the main part of your ticket away and handing you back the stub. So, I really don't think it's going to be a problem. *EDIT* Oh, and yes Anchan, when your itinerary says you arrive in Minneapolis at 5:00, it means 5:00 Minnesota time.

Your Queenfulness,
I shall keep this simple as you're no doubt halluckinatin' from your anti-phooey flu medications n' all . . . but I don't see how Bia and I can make a 4 day drive to The Show right now. Too many big changes underway in the job & life & love departments. But at least when you recuperate and make it there, we'll have at least 3 members there who'll give their patented "just like you was there" reports.
I should go back and see if I can increase my usage of "there" . . . you know . . . there !
