It hasn't been called off! Hooray!!! Josh has sent out the newest CT newsletter, and tickets go on sale for members of the email club on June 29th! So if you're not on there, get on there, because otherwise you'lll have to wait until July 1st!
I'm sure my October Show plans thread will become more active on the other board now, so if you're interested in all the festivities, you'll probably want to chime in over there.
I'm so excited!!!

I am going to buy the tickets ASAP, so I can *force* myself to not drop out this time, if at all possible. Of course the show is right in the middle of the semester, so I can't say with 100% certainty, but for anything aside from school, I'm determined to go.

Yeah I've got school too, but fortunately, my schedule is set up so that I only have one class on Fridays, and it's a discussion section to boot, so assuming there isn't a test or something, I could blow it off with little consequence. I think CT is a good enough reason to lose a day of participation points!

Okay, SO...me and Queenie and Anchan were talking about sharing a hotel room and splitting the cost, so this is what I ended up getting: Friday, October 24, 2008 - Sunday, October 26, 2008 ( 2 nights ) Cost per night: $129.00 Studio, 1 King Bed and 1 Sofabed, Free Breakfast, Free High Speed, Kitchenette In Every Room Estimated government taxes and fees: $16.97 Total for stay: $291.93 Let me know if there are any problems with this. Also, it says "3 people" on the order, cause you have to pay extra for more that 3 people, but I think we could bring in a fourth person if we're sneaky about it. Does Calandra still need a place?? Also, I finally got my flight plans worked out: I arrive in Minneapolis around 3:30pm on Friday, and leave on 3:40pm on Sunday. (Eeeee I'm so excited ;D )

Wow, Robyn isn't wasting any time! So divided by the three of us, that's $97.31 each for the whole stay. I certainly can't complain about that price! Nice to know that's all squared away. All I need to do now is buy my plane ticket.
Thing to keep in mind for flight arrangements - check out time of the hotel on Sunday. I'd have to check, but most places have a check out time of like 10 AM, so if your flight leaves later than that you're gonna have to hang out with your luggage elsewhere, which can be a pain if you're like me and you pack the whole world when you go on a trip! Just a thought.
In other news, yay!! I can't wait for October!! ;D

What airline are you using? I'm trying to find a flight that leaves not too early in the morning but still gets to MSP sometime around 3 or 4:00...<__<
EDIT: uh...I just found one that leaves at 9 and arrives at 5. Is that okay? XD;

Looks like the checkout time is 12:00, and I'm the airline I'm using is United Express/Skywest. I think I'm taking United Express from Burbank to Denver and then the Skywest to Minneapolis. Or it might be the other way around. I should probably figure that out, huh? I, for one, can't wait to see all the marvelous sights of Minnesota, like...like this! XD EDIT: uh...I just found one that leaves at 9 and arrives at 5. Is that okay? XD; I say go for it. If you're worried about trying to find the hotel yourself, I can always hang around at the airport and we can go together. As long as you guys don't get to the hotel before me, since we'll need my card to check in.

As long as you guys don't get to the hotel before me, since we'll need my card to check in. No option for separate check-ins huh? I know some places do that. Not that it's a big deal or anything. Looks like check-in time is 3 PM, so there's not much point in getting there super early anyway!

Okay, so those of us that are going to this thing, have you bought your tickets yet? One would assume you'd have jumped on the opportunity as soon as they had gone one sale! But if not, PM me. The person who's hooking me up with a seat has had some cancellations in his party and now has an extra ticket or two.

Big actually inquired about that extra ticket I was hawking, but ultimately he said he wouldn't be able to make it. Bummer.

It's ever so nice & heart warming & crap to be "missed in advance", and I made this recent decision with a heavy darn heart. But by that time the inheritance I've been living off for 2 1/2 years will be lower still ( funny how that works with money n' all ), and I don't know what I'll be doing exactly . . . plus Bia is well in my life and has me focusing on all the talents she claims I possess & simply must share with the world.
I really hate the idea that a chance to meet Captain Shadowrama & Queen Hygiene ( plus certain Brainy Titans ) is going to get by me.
Damn !
( sob )

Well, I would've liked to meet you, but at least you won't just be sitting at home alone or anything. Also, with the way they're throwing out live show dates these days, I'm sure you'll get the chance to take in a show locally before too long.

Looks like I'm dropping out of the Minneapolis show due to some major deadlines. I'll try to get in a Chicago show after the semester's over. If anyone here is interested in a ticket (***good location*** ) drop me a PM.
